- Description
- Fifteen days after publication of this notice, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) intends to issue a purchase order to the MEMS Industry Group (MIG). The research will involve the organization of a workshop to address issues of scale-up, manufacturability and commercialization relevant to MEMS technology and the development of an online application process for student funding for travel in order to reach out to the growing community of MEMS scholars. The MEMS Industry Group, in its extensive leverage, knowledge of the industry and existing points-of-entry to the MEMS community, is uniquely qualified to carry out the planning and organization of this workshop, as well as develop the online process. This order shall be for an amount less than $100,000 and the research to be provided shall take place within a period of five months after issuance of the purchase order. This notice is not a solicitation of any kind, nor is it a request for proposals.
