- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT, AMENDMENT NUMBER THREE, TO W914NS-04-Q-0210 IS TO EXTEND THE DUE DATE OF THE QUOTE AND TO PROVIDE MORE DETAIL TO INDUSTRY ON SOME OF THE CONTRACT LINE ITEMS. 1. The due date of the quote is changed to 3 September 2004. 2. Drawing numbers mentioned in the combined synopsis / solicitation must be obtained from the manufacturer of the rolling stock. 3. Contract line item 0002 is changed to read, ?1,000 each steel tires, 920mm diameter on tread based on UIC Standard 810 B4 building material. Material will be supplied in a fabricated rolled condition.? 4. Contract line item 0003 is changed to read, ?3,000 each, 4-foot by 8-foot, 13mm thick Chequered steel plate. Chequered plate is a non-slip steel plate to allow ease of walking. Plates must be cut by thermal means.? The quote / proposal is due at 1700 hours, Baghdad time, on 3 September 2004.
