Description

THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT, AMENDMENT NUMBER TWO, TO W914NS-04-Q-0212 IS TO PROVIDE FURTHER TECHNICAL INFORMATION ON THE REQUIREMENT TO INDUSTRY AND TO EXTEND THE DUE DATE OF THE QUOTES. 1. The due date of the quote is changed to 2 September 2004. 2. The following is further technical information per contract line item: a. 0009 Add Impact Sockets: Four different types. Quantity of each type with impact wrench set is 5. For BS90 Rail?Fishplate, size 1 and 13/16 inch; K-type 33mm. For R43 Rail?Fishplate 36.1mm; K-type 33.05mm. b. 0010 is divided into two sub-contract line items. 0010aa, minimum 500 each, maximum 1000 each auger bit for use with line item 0009, size three-quarter inch. . 0010ab, minimum 500 each, maximum 1000 each auger bit for line item 0009, size five-eights inch. c. 0016 This type of generator and light pole is not hand-held; the light pole is separate from the generator. The electric system is 220V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz. d. 0017 is for driving screwspikes. The diameter of the heads of the screwspikes is either 22mm or 22.1mm. e. 0020 the drill bit size is changed from 31mm to 30mm. f. 0022 the basic tool kit is for general maintenance and should include a hammer, an array of hand held screw drivers, socket wrench set, etc. The quote / proposal is due at 1700 hours, Baghdad time, on 2 September 2004.
