- This is a Combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation for Commercial Services/Supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this Notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request For Quotations and incorporates Provisions and Clauses IAW the FAR/DFAR. This is a competitive procurement. The Government will base award on Best Value. The Government will be considering the lowest bidder meeting all specifications and past performance evaluation of contractor?s performance and quality of equipment proposed. Provide two (2) references (name, address, and phone numbers) when submitting your quotation. ITEM 0001 PROVIDE SERVICES TO REMOVE/DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL OF EXISTING GOVERNMENT OWNED INSTALLED TRUCK SCALE. ITEM 0002 PROVIDE NEW BETTER QUALITY TRUCK SCALE TO INCLUDE INSTALLATION, SERVICE, AND ALL MATERIALS WITH CALIBRATION AND TRAINING TO ENSURE NEW TRUCK SCALE IS FULLY OPERATIONAL. SHIPPING FOB DEST TO NAVAL WEAPONS STATION, CHEATHAM ANNEX, WILLIAMSBURG, VA. THE GOVERNMENT WILL APPROVE ALL PROPOSALS FOR NEW TRUCK SCALE IN ADVANCE OF AWARD OF CONTRACT. SOLICITATION WILL INCLUDE FULL PART NUMBER, MODEL, MANUFACTURER AND DETAILED SPECIFICATION SHEETS OF NEW TRUCK SCALE. GOVERNMENT TECHNICAL POINT OF CONTACT IS: MR. WOODROW SANDERS, 757-887-7136.
