- This project is being solicited as a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 ? Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except automotive and electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The small business size standard is $6.0 million. There is no requirement that Small Business firms have NAICS Code 811310 approved by the SBA for use in their business plans. The scope of work is to provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, transportation, and equipment required to perform preventive maintenance and repair of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for Defense Reutilization & Marketing Office (DRMO). Maintenance and repair of Material Handling Equipment include, but is not limited to, visual and operational inspections, lubrication of axles, fittings, anti-freeze, grease, oil changes to include fuel filters, installation of hydraulic fluid and battery water, checks of hydraulic lines, adjustments and replacements of typical PM parts (air and oil filters, hoses, belts, etc.) that are necessary to provide safe and operational MHE and any other work as recommended by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Period of performance will be for a base year with four-12 month options. This solicitation will result in award of a combination Firm Fixed-Price with Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Provisions. The electronic solicitation package will be available on-line for release to the general public on or about 27 August 2004. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.102(a)(7), availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium; the solicitation will be available for download via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. All prospective offerors and plan holders must register as Planholders on the website in order to receive a copy of the solicitation. The official Planholder?s list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. The Government will NOT provide a complete name, address, phone number including area code, offeror type (prime contractor, subcontractor, supplier, etc.), e-mail address and type of business (large, small, small disadvantaged, women owned, etc.). Notification of any amendments to the solicitation will only be made on the website for any posted changes. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for any amendments issued to the solicitation. In addition, you MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to receiving any OICC Marianas Contract Award. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov/.
