- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to provide refuse collection and disposal services at the designated facilities at New Melones Recreation Areas. Excluded from this function is the collection and disposal of 1. hazardous wastes, 2. solids or dissolved materials in domestic sewage, 3. other pollutants in water resources such as silt and dissolved or suspended solids, and 4. infectious wastes. Services shall be performed in accordance with Tuolumne County Ordinance No. 994, dated March 27, 1979, and amendments thereto incorporated herein by reference. In addition to the above, the Contractor will be required to comply with all State, County, and other laws or sanitary regulations governing the pickup, hauling, and disposal of refuse hauled under this contract; and he/she shall be solely responsible for obtaining any licenses or permits that may be required for his/her performance of the contract. Any costs involved in obtaining licenses or permits shall be at the expense of the Contractor. Twenty-nine (29) bins at the Tuttletown Recreation Area, Tuolumne County, 2. One (1) bin at the Administration Building Area 3. Two (2) bins at the New Melones Powerhouse and Dam, number of pickups and disposal will vary depending on "Peak and Off-Peak" Park Seasons. 2. Additional bins or haulings throughout New Melones Recreation Areas, Tuolumne County. The Contractor shall furnish 2 cubic yard refuse bins that are sanitary, attractive, and cleaned periodically to eliminate any buildup of offensive odor. Solicitation 05SQ240021 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 25, 2004 quotes due on or before September 24, 2004. The solicitation and specification can be downloaded at the above site. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the CCR database, http://www.ccr.gov prior to award of contract.
