- Description
- Chimayo Stewardship Service Contract with product Removal. This requirement provides for fuels reduction and forest health. All Merchantable tol be removed will be purchased from the Government and paid for at the total offer values shown in Line Item 8. The Contractor shall develop and submit a Treatment Plan and Schedule to accomplish the project objectives, and organize and direct all of the equipment and personnel needed to fully accomplish the work. The contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. The Treatment Plan and Schedule will be agreed upon by both parties and incorporated into the contract. In general, the contractor shall be required to: 1. Provide a Treatment Plan and Schedule 2. Provide a Quality Control Plan. The Treatment Plan and Schedule shall include as a minimum the following items: 1. Product removal - cutting, skidding, decking, loading of biomass material, hauling operations, equipment involved 2. Road Maintenance - temporay access route specifications, rehab procedures, and equipment involved 3. Safety Plan - to include traffic control, and identification of hazards 4. Fire Prevention Plan - prevention and control of fires, detailed list of personnel and equipment 5. Slash Plan - equipment and techniques used to meet slash specifications 6. Schedule for completion of objectives The project area is located 4 miles south of Cundiyo, New Mexico.
