- Description
- Provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, services, transportation and all incidental items necessary to Construct Security Barricade System at Building 310, W heeler Army Airfield, Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes constructing security barrier around building; to include both fixed and manually retractable crash rated bollards, large boulders, cast in place concrete retaining wall and barrier wall; install weed bio-barrier netting and provide redwood chips for landscaping; restore landscaping, pavement, sidewalks and all other affected areas to preconstruction condition. Contractors shall be responsible for locating all underground utilities and for any resultin g damages. All work is to be completed 120 calendar days after issuance of Notice To Proceed. Work shall be prosecuted on a full-time basis. Modified two-step process also termed C3 (Customer, Contracting, and Commerce) process will be utilized as the p rocurement method. All interested contractors are required to attend the site visit scheduled on Thursday, August 19, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. (Hawaiian Standard Time) in parking lot, Building 310, Wheeler Army Air Field, HI. You are required to notify Mr. Ker ry Luke no later than August 16, 2004, of your interest in attending the site visit by e-mail at LukeK@shafter.army.mil. Please indicate in your e-mail if you have not attended a previous industry forum briefing. You will need to be briefed on the C3 pro cess prior to the site visit. Information on the procurement as well as site visit information (instructions) will be provided upon receipt of your e-mail. No telephonic requests will be accepted. This is an unrestricted procurement.
