- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR SubPart 12.6. The 319th Contracting Squadron at Grand Forks AFB, ND intends to award a purchase order for the purchase of two Narrowband Paging Terminals. Requirement is as follows: (CLIN 0400) two Narrowband Paging Terminals VHF Non-Simulcast Paging System 12.5/25 kHz Specifications: The system must be compatible with a Zetron 220 Encoder. Frequency: Operates in both wideband and narrowband modes. VHF Dual Band, 144-152 MHz. Transmitter bandwidth for both bands must be 12.5/25kHz @ 1PPM separation. Power Output: 100W with slide-in-series mount, also including a R.F. Amplifier. Rated for 115 VAC operation. Link Receiver Option: Wireline. Receiver Bandwidth: None with wireline control. Paging Controller: Must be dual address controller. Must have high stability option in accordance with NTIA 1 PPM standard. (CLIN 0401) Housing Cabinet: 46 in., fully wired with an electrical strip. (CLIN 0402) Equipment Rack: Open frame with an electrical strip. (CLIN 0403) Options for Paging System: a. Accessory kit ? including heavy duty hand microphone, 4 ft. extender cable, and microphone hang-up clip. b. Ops manual, programming software, and programming cable c. Zetron Model 66 interface and testing d. Isolator panel e. Service Manual (CLIN 0404) Link Demodulator This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and will be based on competitive quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220; size standard of 750 employees. This acquisition is 100% small business set aside. The following provisions and clauses can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site. Web address is http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include with their quotation a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items (July 2002) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certification, Commercial Items (Nov 1995). In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration (Nov 2001), prior to receiving any contract award, contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors can obtain further information on the CCR database at the web site http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors are encouraged to utilize the Wide Area Work Flow system for creation of electronic invoices. Offerors quotation must be good through 15 Oct 04. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written (paper/hard copy) solicitation will not be issued.
