- Description
- The contractor shall provide/furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to perform work consisting of, but not all inclusive of reflective tape and stencil removal, sanding and painting of equipment. The contractor is responsible for covering tires, data plates, control panels and any other unpainted surfaces. Contractors will comply with sanding on all equipment by feathering all equipment and removing all rust from equipment. Contractors will also fill in any gouges with bondo if needed to get proper paint surface. Contractors will pick-up and deliver equipment to and from building 4815 Monday through Friday between the hours of 0800 and 1600. The subsequent award will be a Firm-Fixed Price, IDIQ contract with a period of performance for Base Year 01 Oct 2004 ? 30 Sep 2005, Option Year I 01 Oct 2005 ? 30 Sep 2006, Option Year II 01 Oct 2006 ? 30 Sep 2007, Option Year III 01 Oct 2007 ? 30 Sep 2008, Option Year IV 01 Oct 2008 ? 30 Sep 2009. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set A-Side. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 811121. The Request for Proposal will be issued in a commercial format. There are experience and qualification requirements for this project that will be outlined in the solicitation documents. Attached schedule of items will be included. A madatory Site Visit will be held on 19 Aug 04. The solicitation may be issued electronically on or about 13 Aug 2004 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov, with a proposal receipt date on or about 31 Aug 2004. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all solicitation documents.
