- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 9 is soliciting offers for the procurement to provide Pharmacy Support Services at contractor?s facility or subcontracted facility to include traditional prescriptions, dispensing (up to a 10 day supply), screening and counseling services for VA eligible beneficiaries presenting authorized prescriptions from providers at the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) located in Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and West Virginia. The Contractor is to provide traditional prescriptions, screening, counseling, and dispensing of up to a ten (10) day supply of emergency medications to VA patients enrolled in approved CBOC's. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price requirements contract for one year with four (4) one year options to renew. Several CBOCs under existing contracts will be phased in during the initial base year. The solicitation package will be available on 11 August 2004. Offers are due no later than 4:30 PM local time, September 09, 2004. This solicitation is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification Code for this procurement is 466110 with a small business size standard of $6 Million. The solicitation is available as a web based document and should be downloaded by interested Offerors. If hard copies are required, a request for the solicitation package must be in writing specifying the company name, address, point of contact, company size, telephone number, and email address. Fax requests can be sent to 867-5764. No telephone requests will be honored. *Note: This solicitation was previously issued under Number 249-36-04, but was cancelled. All Offerors must ensure they submit their proposal for the new solicitation 249-45-04.
