- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requisition (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ# 133088, the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. This solicitation in under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) . The North American Industry Classification System Code is 339999 & 421410 and The Business Size Standard is 500 employees. This contract will price a Firm-Fixed price one-time buy, all or none. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Kongsberg Maritime, Inc., 7225 Lantry Street, Houston, TX 77040. The requirement consists of the following: (4 ea.) Model OE9021 ?Seahawk? Diver TV Systems, including: Model OE12260A Control Unit, 120VAC/60Hz input, Model )E1373 Underwater Color TV Camera, Model OE11-135 Underwater Lamp, 300 Watts, Diver Hand-held Bracketry, Sunlight Viewing Hood, 50 Meter Type OE-Mini Cable Assembly; (4 ea.) Panasonic DV Recorder installed into Model OE1260A Control Unit; (4 ea.) Increase standard 50 Meter Cable Length to 100 Meter Cable. FOB-Destination?FBI, Laboratory Division, Quantico, VA 22135. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive price quotes. However, all quotes received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the decretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
