- Description
- --The installation of a new underground electrical system for the Davis Lake Recreation area located on the Tombigbee National Forest. The project is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Tupelo, MS and consists of the following major items of work: Installation of new 50 amp underground electrical service to approximately 29 campsites including the installation of distribution panels, campground power pedestals, and associated wiring and conduit. Installation of three new 600 Amp service panels, two of which will feed 225 Amp subpanels to two existing bathhouses and two existing sewer lift stations. Installation of some water line modifications and new water hydrants at the 29 campsites. Installation of small amount of sewer line for future use at the 29 campsites The recreation area will remain open for business during construction, but areas of the campground undergoing renovation may be closed in order provide a safe work environment for the employees and visitors.
