- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR FAC 2001-22 & 23. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Solicitation Number is FA4809-04-Q-0362. The NAICS code 334519 (Miscellaneous Alarm Signal and Security Detection) applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 500 employees. The item description is as follows: To purchase a weather proof multi-zone walk-through metal detectors, Model/part No. Metor 200 WP. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation—Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items (Offerors must include a completed copy of this provision with their quote).
