Description
PROJECT TITLE & Location: Best Western Dike, Three Rivers, CA and Tulare Lakebed Mitigation Site, Corcoran, CA. This procurement is 100% set-aside for firms under the 8(a) Program located within the geographical area serviced by the Small Business Administration in Fresno and San Francisco, CA. JOB DESCRIPTION: This procurement involves construction at two sites located approximately one hour apart. The first site is near Corcoran, CA, and construction consists of several thousand linear feet of earthen berms dividing a 1,290-acre site into three separate water retention basins (cells). The cells will connect to each other and the adjacent irrigation canals with several reinforced concrete water control structures and gates. Two 25 cfc pumps, el ectrical service, control panel, and a reinforced concrete pumping station are also required. The second site is located at Lake Kaweah near the town of Three Rivers, CA, and consists of a 900-foot long earthen dike to protect the Best Western Motel from higher lake elevations. Other project features include a 12 inch diameter toe drain along the landside of the dike, a reinforced concrete pumping station with three 430-gpm pumps and discharge piping, underground electrical conduit with 480 volt service a nd pump control panel, stone bank protection, hydroseeding, fencing and gates. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS 237990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $28.5 Million. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,00 0. ORDERING PLANS AND SPEC IFICATIONS: ORDERING SOLICITATION: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Divisions Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for down load from this web site. If you experience problems registering for the plan holders list or have problems downloading plans and specifications or amendments please contact Robert Ennis at 916-557-5238. It is important that yo u first go to this web site and under Contract Division home page, click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to Plan Holder Registration. This will require you to establish a user name and pass word. Keep the user name and pass wor d and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password you can always go ba ck into the system and register for other jobs without having to go through the entire registration process. However you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. In order to receive notification on any amendments to the solicitation you are required to register for the plan holder list. Please complete all requested information. To down load the solicitation go to the Sacramento District Contracting Di vision Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ from there click on Sacramento District, then it will take you to a list of advertised solicitations and then from there click on the desired solicitation number, on the bottom of this page there will be a bar that says download/view solicitation files. Select plans or specs from the drop down box and press the go button. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on file name and download. To download amendments: Access the li st of advertised solicitations. Select the desired solicitation and then click on the amendment number. At the next screen, click on the file name and downloa d it. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. Please note that all contractors and potential contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
