- Description
- The Social Security Administration intends to award a contract to the Sikeston Department of Public Safety (SDPS) for Fraud Investigation Services. This requirement is for the investigation of suspected fraud activities against the Social Security Administration?s Title II and Title XVI Disability Programs and other Federal and State programs, including Title XIX (Medicaid) in the Southeast Missouri Area. The SDPS is the only known source capable of providing the fraud investigation services. Other organizations possessing the abilities to provide fraud investigation services are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, pricing and other pertinent data. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Fraud Investigation Services. Responses must be in writing and should be submitted to the SSA, 601 E. 12th St., Room 409, Kansas City, MO. 64106, or you may email terry.crowley@ssa.gov. THE DUE DATE FOR RESPONSES IS 2:00 PM, CST, AUGUST 9, 2004. FAXED RESPONSES SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED. The Government does not intend to pay for information received. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of evaluation responses to this notice, the contracting office may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor, as stated herein, and to all firms that respond to this notice or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
