Description

Utilizing the requirements of FAR Subpart 5.101(a)(1), as required by the Small Business Act 15 U.S.C. 637(e) and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act 41 U.S.C. 416, the General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS), intends to award a contract to the International Facility Management Association (IFMA). Under this proposed action, GSA, PBS will enter into a one-year renewal of IFMA Group Membership services focused on Base, Chapter, and Public Sector Council Memberships. The proposed procurement is to secure services promoting excellence in the management of facilities. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Small businesses are encouraged to apply. Interested parties shall identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by e-mail or fax, no later than 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2004. No Telephone Inquiries Accepted.
