Description
NAICS Code: 541620 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Transportation and Air Quality (OTAQ), Transportation and Regional Programs Division (TRPD) intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) of Washington, DC. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain a forum to address visibility and marketing of EPA's Best Workplaces for Commuters (BWC) program among professionals (employer transportation coordinators, transit management organizations, metropolitan planners). Under this Purchase Order, ACT shall provide a venue to address BWC, a voluntary program seeking to improve carpooling and commuting options to employers, thus reducing congestion and improving air quality. It has been determined that ACT is the only vendor uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement; it is the only known organization with annual meetings and a national base to reach the target audiences necessary for providing visibility for BWC, workshop facilities, access to stakeholders and membership lists. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541620. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Contract Specialist Jami Rodgers via e-mail at rodgers.jami@epa.gov .
