- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire Catering services for breakfast and lunch two weekends per month in support of the reservists at the Naval Air Station Willow Grove, PA. Requirements will be solicited as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR part 12, using simplified acquisition procedures as set forth in FAR, part 13.5. Contractor will provide up to 40 continental breakfast meals and 220 meals for lunch on Saturday and Sunday beginning 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005. The breakfast meal will be served from 6:30 a.m. through 8:00 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. Breakfast shall consist of a choice hot/cold cereals, bread, bagels, muffins, Danish, yogurt, coffee (regular and decaf), tea, and juice (apple and orange). The lunch shall consist of a hot buffet with a choice between two entr?es and two side dishes served with bread, coffee, tea, a cold beverage and dessert. Lunch entrees to include sliced beef, turkey breast, chicken (baked, BBQ, fried, etc), baked ham, meatloaf, and pasta dishes, etc. Lunch entrees must be rotated. The contractor shall provide all paper products and eating utensils. The solicitation will consider past performance and price as evaluating factors and will be evaluated under FAR, part 13 procedures. A firm fixed price commercial items type, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity purchase order is anticipated. The applicable NAICS code is 722320 with a size standard of $6.0M. The RFQ will be issued on an electronic basis only and can be located upon its release at www.neco.navy.mil. The solicitation is set aside 100% for small business concerns.
