- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448 intends to procure on a sole source basis from Optical Systems Technology, 110 Kountz Lane, Freeport, PA 16229-1724 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, eleven (11) each Star-Tron 170mm Catadioptric Lens Long Range Night Vision Surveillance Lenses, CCD Cameras and Accessories. Specifications include but are not limited to the following: Image Intensifier Tube must be 3rd Generation Pinnacle Tube; video output display must be black/white or grayscale; have a minimum of 550 TV lines of resolution; have a minimum 165mm lens; must be capable of collecting both visible and near IR light sources; must have a low-lux capability; must have a portable/inexpensive power source (AA or 9-volt); must have BNC or RCA video output; must be able to maximize video output and minimize signal to noise ratio; have the ability to mount to a tri-pod; have a minimum of 6 magnification; be operational in less than 5 minutes from time power is switched on; include a water-tight protective case to hold the system, components and accessories; camera should operate a minimum of 8 hours; intensifier should operate a minimum of 40 hours in average conditions; overall weight should not exceed 7 pounds; Items shall be shipped to the Receiving Officer, Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Bldg. 125, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. All responsible sources may submit their quote, which will be considered, to: Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Bldg 183,Room 200, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100, or quote may be faxed to the following numbers: 540-653-7016, 540-653-7276 or 540-653-6812. E-mailed quotations are also acceptable by addressing them to the following: SD18@nswc.navy.mil. Sources should reference in their responses the following quotation number: N00178-04-Q-0006. In addition to quotes submitted for evaluation, the bidders shall include with their packages, their Dun and Bradstreet Number, Tax Identification Number, Cage Code and proof that they are currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). FOB shall be destination for the resulting order. The Government shall not issue a written solicitation for this requirement as all pertinent information is contained herein IAW FAR 13.105(b). Closing date for submission of bids shall be 13 August 2004. Delivery of items shall be on or before 30 September 2004. Anticipated date of award shall be on or before August 20, 2004.
