Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items with an intent to award as a sole source basis prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-04-T-0052 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541710, Size: 500. This procurement is a small purchase, small business set- aside solicitation. The contractor shall provide CLIN 0001: NON-PERSONAL SERVICE contract for a Research Technician for the period of 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005. Services are for technical support of research protocols S-01-145, S-02-040 and S-03-160 . QTY: 12, Unit of Issue: Months. The duties to be performed shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work. Copy of the statement of work is available upon request. The following FAR and DFAR clauses and provisions are applicable and will be incorporated into the solicitation by reference, and will be available in full text upon request. Past performance and qualified Research Technicianc?s qualifications based on SOW when combined has more importance than cost or price. Prior to Contract Award, the government reserves the right to review the resumes of contractor employees performing under the contract solely for the purpose of ascertaining their qualifications relative to the personnel qualifications terms of the contract. Accordingly, the contractor shall furnish such resumes and all professional requirements as stated in the Statement of Work (SOW) to the Contract Specialist along with their quote. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. All interested bidders must submit quotation on or before the COB, August 12, 2004, 1300 hours Pacific Standard Time to Domingo B.
