- Fort Lewis is soliciting for a contractor to provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, parts and other items and services necessary to perform Courier Services for Fort Lewis WA and McChord Air Force Base, WA. Work shall include deliver and pick up mail and sort into distribution at various location. This is a firm fixed price requirement type contract. This procurement will consist of a Base Period, with two one-year option periods. Period of Performance begins 1 October 2004 thru 30 September 2005. This requirement will be 100% Set aside for Small Business (SB) concerns. Concerns means any business entity organized for profit with a place of business located in the United States, including but not limited to: an individual, partner ship, corporation, joint venture, association, or cooperative. The size standard for any concern, including its affiliates is $18.5 million. NAICS: 492110, FSC R602. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. All requests for the s olicitation must be emailed to sharon.hastings@lewis.army.mil (email is preferred), providing DUNS & Bradstreet number and CAGE Code. When issued, the solicitation will be available by downloading from the Directorate of contracting web site at http://www .lewis.army.mil/doc. The estimated issue date for this solicitation, W911S8-04-Q-0013 is 9 August 2004. Firms providing a proposal shall ensure they are registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to submission of their proposal.
