- Description
- The Federal Highway Administrations (FHWA) plans to award a sole source purchase order to the Association of Metropolitan Planning Organization (AMPO) for the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) awareness and transportation operations Co-Sponsorship. AMPO will conduct operations research, operations webcast, and promote the benefits of ITS and transportation management. Additionally, AMPO will play a vital role in the development and operations performance measures. AMPO will be providing the facilitators, conference space and a portion of the funding for their conference. AMPO is the only known source who can provide the services for their conference, this is a Co-Sponsorship. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about August 18, 2004.
