- Solicitation No. DTFANM-04-R-00049 Screening Information Request (SIR) for the Administrative Wing 1st Floor Renovation Project, located at the Air Route Traffic Control Center, Salt Lake City, Utah Point of Contact: Michael Todd, Contracting Officer, (425) 227-1179. fax (425) 227-1055. The purpose of this Screening Information Request (SIR) is to seek competent and qualified contractors to perform renovation work on the 1st floor of the Administrative Wing. The Screening Information Request (SIR) is 100% set-aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (NAICS 236210). Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) competing on this acquisition shall be in good standing with the Small Business Administration. Certification documents are required for award consideration. Description of Work: This project renovates the first floor of the Administrative Wing at the Salt Lake City Air Route Traffic Control Center. Work includes removal and replacement of existing finishes, mechanical systems (fan coil units, fire alarm system), electrical systems (lighting, power, lan, telephone), miscellaneous demolition and construction of new office spaces and walls. The following are bid optional items in addition to the basic contract: 1. Provide and install card access control at doors indicated. Tie into existing access control system. 2. Install fire suppression system as indicated in the plans and specifications. 3. Extend the facility fire detection system to the first floor area as indicated on the plans and specifications. 4. Provide and install ball valves in lieu of butterfly valves for valve size 2 ?? inch and higher. Contract duration for completion of all work shall be 150 calendar days.
