Description
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, (AHRQ), through the Division of Acquisition Management (DAM), Program Support Center(PSC), plans to award a sole source contract using simplified acquisition procedures, to First Counsulting Group, 45 Hayden Avenue, Lexington, MA 02421. The anticipated date August 21, 2004. For the development and production of ambulatory Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) order sets and patient profiles (both adult and pediatric) to be used in the Leapfrog ambulatory CPOE evaluation methodology. This project calls for the documentation of ambulatory CPOE order sets and patient profiles (adult and pediatric) to be used in the Leapfrog ambulatory CPOE evaluation methodology. The contractor shall perform the following tasks: Conduct one meeting to establish the CPOE advisory team and project oversight Finalize the project workplan, including phone conference schedules Determine and confirm test sites for review of the ambulatory evaluation methodology, including one ambulatory site, and five Ambulatory Clinical Information Commercial Vendor-specific (ambulatory) sites Perform ambulatory CPOE literature review -adult and pediatric ambulatory medication orders Conduct two phone conferences with CPOE Physician Advisory group Document and approve the adult and pediatric ambulatory order sets and patient profiles Schedule of Deliverables: 1. Finalized work plan - Due Date - 30 days after award 2. Finalized schedule and participants - Due Date - 30 days after award 3. Confirmed test sites - Due Date - 30 days after date of award 4. Development of Ambulatory Order Sets and Test Patient Profiles (Adult and Pediatric) Ambulatory order sets (adult and pediatric) and corresponding patient profiles Due Date - September 30, 2004 The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of far 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest by responding to the requirement within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation is available.
