*********IS NOW R6-18-04-145J********** WATERSHED RESTORATION ("JOBS IN THE WOODS") NOTICE Competition for this project is being limited to the "affected areas" (i.e., counties) identified pursuant to the waiver of Full and Open Competition approved by the Secretary of Agriculture under 41 USC 253(c)(7), Public Interest. Therefore, award of this contract will be restricted to those firms or individuals who are located in an affected area. The affected areas are: Washington: Okanogan, Douglas, Chelan, Kititas, Yakima, Klickitat, Skamania, Clark, Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Pacific, Lewis, Pierce, Thurston, Grays Harbor, Mason, Jefferson, Clallam, Kitsap, Island, San Juan, King, Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom; Oregon: Wasco, Jefferson, Deschutes, Lake, Klamath, Jackson, Josephine, Curry, Coos, Douglas, Lane, Linn, Benton, Lincoln, Marion, Yamhill, Polk, Clackamas, Multnomah, Hood River, Tillamook, Washington, Columbia, and Clatsop; California: Siskiyou, Shasta, Tehama, Glenn, Lake, Trinity, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Mendocino. ******ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE IN FBO IS JULY 29, 2004**** Aerially apply fertilizer on 756 acres of young stands between the ages of 20 and 40 years old. Project is located on Mckenzie River Ranger District, Willamette National Forest. The COR to contact for additional info is Kevin Moran. Start work date is October 12, 2004.
