Description

PHASE 1 LAKE MORENA - This project is a combined synopsis/solicitation to brush cut/masticate 100-130 acres on the Cleveland National Forest, Descanso Ranger District. The purpose is to create a 100 to 1000 foot wide fuelbreak around Lake Morena. Contract time is 180 calendar days. Start date approximately late September 2004. OFFERS ARE DUE BY 12:00 NOON, LOCAL TIME, SEPTEMBER 3, 2004. PHASE 2 CARVEACRE RANCH - This project is to brush cut/masticate 100-130 acres on the Cleveland National Forest, Descanso Ranger District. The purpose is to create a 100 to 1000 foot side fuelbreak around the Carveacre Ranch. Contract time is 180 calendar days. Start date approximately late September 2004. OFFERS ARE DUE BY 12:00 NOON, LOCAL TIME, SEPTEMBER 3, 2004. These projects may be awarded to more than one contractor. NAICS 115310 SBA size standard is $6.0 million for both projects. Quotations for each project should be bid on an hourly rate for machine and operator which includes all time under hire (time under hire does not include breakdowns and repair work). Hours worked will be verified and approved by the COR on invoices submitted by the Contractor. Payment will be made for actual time worked under hire. Any contractor desiring a solicitation package please contact Linda Ford, Procurement Assistant. Contractors must be registered with Central Contracting Registry (CCR) before an award can be made.
