- Description
- Provide all materials, labor, tools, plant supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the upgrade/renovation of the HVAC system at the USPS P&DC/AMF in Anchorage, AK in accordance with the plans and specifications included in the solicitation. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the boiler, chiller, AHU, distribution duct work, air curtain, fan coil, makeup air unit, fire sprinkler, facility finish modifications and interior lighting. The estimated cost range is $3,800,000 - $4,400,000. The performance period is 360 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. ONLY THE FOLLOWING SIX (6) PREQUALIFIED FIRMS FOR THE STATE OF ALASKA WILL BE ALLOWED TO SUBMIT PROPOSALS: Denali General Contractors, P. O. O. Box 429, Naknek, AK 99633 (907-246-4378); and Weldin Construction, 561 Steel Loop, Palmer, AK 99645 (907-746-3200). Subcontractors may secure a copy of the plans and specifications from the prequalified contractors. There will be NO public opening of offers. All proposal information received is CONFIDENTIAL until award of a contract. The name of the successful offeror and the amount of the contract will be released as public information. The number of offerors, their names, and the amount of their offers WILL NOT BE RELEASED AS PUBLIC INFORMATION. This information is exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Exemption 4.
