- Marine Corps Logistics Command intends to award a sole source procurement to Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) for an indefinite quantity of Airboss Lightweight Overboots. This procurement is an interim solution in advance of the completion of other ongoing procurement actions. This procurement will fulfill protective overboot requirements with a product that has been approved for use in the anticipated operational environment to include shipboard use and for use with certain protective overgarments. The design and materials formulation are proprietary to the manufacturer. This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. NAICS 316211; size standard 1,000. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. No solicitation document will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discr! etion of the Government.
