- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISC,PS) in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), has a requirement for 1 Scanning Electron Microscope, Variable Vacuum, with energy dispersive x-ray spectrometer, with all associated hardware and software. This electron microscope system is commercial as defined in FAR Part 2, and this acquisition is being made in accordance with the simplfied acquisition procedures for certain commercial items as authorized in FAR 13.5. The microscope will be awarded as a firm fixed price supply type contract utilizing SAP 12 & 13.5 Commercial SAP Test Program. The item will be delivered FOB Destination to PSNS & IMF, Bremerton, WA 98314. Required delivery date is on or before February 02, 2005. The estimated date of commercial Request for Quote (RFQ) publication is September 08, 2004. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by FISC Puget Sound. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All firms wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from the NECO website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone requests will be accepted. A fax to (360) 476-1914 or an email to anne.marotti@navy.mil will be accepted if you are unable to download the RFQ. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection.
