- Description
- The quantity has been modified to include an option of up to an additional three (3) units. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to procure for the AV8-B program for the following item: Engine Turning Kit, quantity of up to six (6), part number P/N K1154656. The Engine Turning Tool is an electronic turning tool that is required to turn the high powered compressor rotor via the engine rotor shaft positioning process leading to the most efficient, easiest to perform borescope inspection. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The delivery for the above listed part number shall be 2 (two) months after receipt of order (ARO). Delivery will be best commercial practice to Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Please reference N68335-04-P-0691 in your quote. The Government does not hold any proprietary rights to any drawings or data. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
