Description: Description of Work: This is a construction project where the vendor is to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials, except for specified Government-furnished property, to construct approximately 3,640 rods of new fence with appurtenances and to remove approximately 960 rods of existing fence. >>> This RFQ consists of seven lines: 0001 - MT02834(3) Barbed Wire Fence (3 Wire), 3,640 rods; 0002 - MT02834(5) Barbed Wire End Panel Type II, 27 each; 0003 - MT02834(6) Barbed Wire Stress Panel, 37 each; 0004 - MT02834(9) Five Post Barbed Wire Corner Panel - Type II, 9 each; 0005 - MT02834(23) Barbed Wire Gate, 19 each; 0006 - MT02834(30) Single Set Wood Post, 40 each; 0007 - MT02834(10) Fence Removal, 960 rods. Quantities are estimated; Award will be 'All or None'; and, this project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, 100% payment protection is required for contracts greater than $25,000 prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This can be submitted by Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. >>> The Request for Quote will be posted on Fedbizopps.gov on or about Wednesday, August 11, 2004 and will close on Sunday, September 12, 2004 unless otherwise amended. A site tour is planned for Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at 9 a.m. Everyone is to meet at the Glasgow Field Station on Highway 2 West of Glasgow Montana. Please provide your own transportation - 4 wheel drives are recommended - travel over unimproved roads is required. Award is tentatively scheduled for September 14, 2004 with the start date scheduled for October 25, 2004. The project is to be completed by July 1, 2005. >>> Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) is required.
