- It is the intent of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Huntsville, AL 35807, to negotiate on a sole source basis an add-on requirement to contract DASG60-00-C-0048, with EDAW, Inc., 753 Davis Street, San Francisco, CA 94111. The propo sed acquisition is directed to EDAW, Inc. pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is for a one-time extension to the contract for c ontinued environmental documentation, remediation, and engineering studies, facilities engineering, technical design analysis, and installation management support for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command programs which have been provided under t he current scope of work. The extension will allow time to complete an on-going competitive action to award a new contract. This acquisition is not open to Allied participation.
