- . DESC: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, requires a contract to provide Maintenance Dredging of approximately 2 million cubic yards of sediments from the Entrance Channel of Savannah Harbor, Station 0+000 to -60+000 and the Entr ance Channel of Brunswick Harbor, Station 33+000 to ??????56+500 by Hopper dredge. The dredged material will be placed in the designated offshore disposal areas in the respective harbors. Network Analysis System will not be required. Period of performan ce is 75 days from Notice to Proceed. Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The solicitation will be available on or about August 20, 2004. Bid open ing date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1629 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237900 and the size standard is $17,000,000.00. Estimated pr ice range of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Note: Any prospective bidder/offeror interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this solicitation must register o n our website to download a solicitation package: http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/ Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted to this website for downloading by interested parties. It is t he responsibility of the potential offeror to check this site for amendments.
