Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W9127Q-04-T-0065 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisiti on Circular 2001-24. This is a 100% small business set-aside; NAICS is 333415 and size standard is 750 employees. Line item 0001: Industrial Process Chiller, AirCel brand name or equal, 1 each. Item is brand name or equal. To be acceptable for award, an equal item must meet the following characteristics: 1) NEMA 4 electrical enclosure (outdoors); 2) Voltage 460-3-60; 3) Refrigeration condenser water-cooled; 4) Automatic water fill system; 5) Single Pump Station pre-piped and mounted - 5 HP stainless s teel pump, 30 gal. expansion tank, no flow shutdown, digital temp. controls; 6) Add-on option - air-cooled condenser. Line item 0002: Start-up and Operator Training, 1 each. Delivery 30 days after date of order to 172nd MXS, 141 Military Drive AW #7, Bl dg 235, Jackson MS 39232-8881; FOB Destination. The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; evaluation criteria are price and technical conformance to specified characteristics, which are approximately equal to each other in importance.
