- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotation s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government plans to award a firm fixed priced purchase order in accordance with the requirements included herein. This acquisition is restricted to small businesses. Defense Contrac ting Command ?????? Washington intends to award a contract to a qualified vendor who can provide Canon copiers and accessories. The vendor shall be qualified to provide the following canon copiers and accessories or equal products: four each (4) Canon imag e Runner 3320i Digital Copier; 4 each Finisher J-1; 4 each Cassette Feeding Unit W1 (additional 1,00 sheets of paper), 4 each Paper Deck L-1; 4 each GPR-6 Black toner (starter). The Canon ir3330i shall include the following features: 33 page per minute; fa x transmission at 33.6 Kbps; automatic Document Feeder- 50 sheets (scan once print many); 2,000 sheets of paper; 25%-800% zoom reduction duplexing; 1200 x 600 DPI; 256MB RAM; 10GB HDD; Optional 2,500 sheet paper deck; Optional 2 and 3 hole-punch; Netspot n etwork device management utility; and standard manufacture warranty. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 29.302 which state that purchases made by the Federal Government are immune from State and local taxation, the Procurement Contractin g Officer has determined that inclusion of any state, local or taxes are not permissible with regards to this contract. Therefore, all prices proposed by the offer or in the schedule of supplies/services and prices are to be exclusive of tax. QUOTATION M UST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO BE CONSIDERED: Offer or is advised to use the lowest pricing for all requirements that apply for their most favored client. The solicitation number is W74V8H-04-T- and is issued as a request for quotation (R FQ). The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423420 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to the acquisition. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with its offer. Quotations will be evaluated in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-2-Evaluation of quotations or offers. The Government anticipates awar ding one purchase order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quotation, conforming to this synopsis/solicitation, will offer the BEST PRICE to the Government. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following clauses listed in 52.212-5(b) and (c) are incl uded by reference: 52.219-6, 52.225-3 and 52.232-33.
