- Furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, tools, supervision, and other items necessary to provide maintenance, calibration, and repair on a quarterly basis of 28 Truck Scales and components therein consisting of varying manufactures an d age and at various locations throughout Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Period of performance is 1 October 2004 through 30 September 2005 with the first quarter inspection to begin in December 2004 for the base period and 4 one-year option periods. The Gov ernment intends to award a firm fixed price contract for this effort. Awardee will have to be certified in scale maintenance and repair. This acquisition is being set-aside 100% for small business concerns only. The National American Industry Classifica tion System (NAICS) codes are 811219 and 333997. The small business size standard for this acquisition is $6 million in average annual receipt for the preceding three years. It is now a requirement that all contractors doing business the Department of De fense to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) which is available on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. Upon release to the public, the solicitation shall be available via the Internet at website: http://www.bragg.army.mil/www-doc/Contrac tors/SOLICIT.HTM as well as ASFI at website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/default.cfm Bidders are responsible for routinely checking these websites for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued.
