- Description
- Operational Contracting, US Air Force Academy intends to award a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to Electromagnetic Techniques of Colorado Springs, Colorado. This service is being acquired for the Department of Electrical Engineering. HQ USAFA/DFEE has a requirement for a senior-level electromagnetics research analyst to perform computational electromagnetic modeling and simulation. This research analyst will work independently for the purposes of using high-performance computing techniques for modeling and simulating electromagnetic scattering and antenna problems and using IR thermography to experimentally verify results. Supplies and/or services are available from only one responsible source. No other type of supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. If no response is received by 12 August 2004, 12:00PM Noon, MDT, to the effect that comparable supplies and/or services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these supplies and or services though a sole source procurement with Electromagnetic Techniques a sole source award will be made.
