- 3 Aug 04 - The solicitation package for this project has been posted to PIXS. The due date for all proposals is 31 Aug 04 at 2:00 P. M. Project Number: 03-0016A/B Project Title: Replace Chillers, Central Chilled Water Plant/Construct Mechanical Room, Facility 20018 Complex The scope of this project consists of providing all labor, material, equipment, appliances, and devices and performing all removals and miscellaneous work; and performing all operations necessary or required to replace chillers in the central chilled water plant, Bldg 18 complex and to construct a mechanical room in Bldg 20018H. All work shall be performed in accordance with the project specifications and drawings. The scope also includes the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials; the removal and disposal of paint containing lead material; and the recovery of refrigerant. All of this work shall be accomplished in accordance with all applicable Air Force and OSHA regulations/directives/guidance. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Period of Performance is 460 calendar days. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1988, Public Law 100-656 (15 U.S.C. 644 note). A hard copy of the solicitation will NOT be provided. You may however, download the solicitation from the World Wide Web. 3. There is no fee for this solicitation. 4. There are approximately 35 pages of the solicitation, 588 pages of specifications, and 85 sheets of drawings. 5. A hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at Dayton Builders Exchange, Minority Contractor Business Assistance Program, and F. W. Dodge Division. 6. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addendums. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 7. You shall provide asigned copy of the SF 1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation. 8. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to sub- contract with these contractors. Bids prepared by Debarred, Suspened, or otherwise ineligible contractors are at the risk and expense of the contractor.
