- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to renovate bathrooms in Building 51, Rooms 285 and 287; Building 48, Room 138; Building 50, Room 5; and Building 51, Room 19. The work consists of general demolition and construction, the installation of toilet fixtures, air ventilation, walls and ceilings, plumbing and electrical work to renovate or create public and private bathrooms as detailed in the contract drawings and specifications. Electronic solicitation documents may be obtained FREE via www.fedbizopps.gov. Requests for hard copy solicitation documents must be in writing to the Contracting Officer and accompanied by a check for $30.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Only ONE request for hard copies will be honored per contractor. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. The drawings are CAD format and can only be opened with AutoCAD 2004. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will only be available on the www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. Issue date is August 4, 2004, Pre-Bid Conference is August 25, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Bid Opening September 21, 2004 at 2:00 pm. The cost range is $75,000 to $150,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. No electronic offers will be accepted. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
