- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY - NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS OR WILL BE AVAILABLE This is a request for information only as defined in FAR 15.2-1(e). The Government does not presently intend to award a contract, but wants to obtain information for planning purposes. Specifically, we are seeking information on construction firms who are 8(a), Hubzone, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business concerns who have demonstrated experience constructing and working in and around electrical high voltage substations and transmission lines. Working in and around high voltage areas require specialized training and experience to prevent potentially fatal accidents. Firms that are 8(a) and/or Hubzone certified, and those that are owned by Service Disabled Veterans should provide information regarding their experience and capabilities to the Point of Contact listed in this Notice.
