- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for conference services for the Department of Commerce (DoC) Financial Management Offsite to be held in Flintstone, MD on August 24-26, 2004. Through competitive procedures, it has been determined that the Rocky Gap Lodge and Resort, MD is the only vendor available on the dates required, in the location needed, with the required space available. The Government shall award a fixed-price purchase order to the Rocky Gap Lodge and Resort for meeting space, hotel rooms, and food services for 130 attendees. This procurement is authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 ? Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through FAR Circular 01-24. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms & Conditions ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. This is not a request for quotations. A solicitation package is not available.
