- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment and incidental supplies necessary to reconstruct approximately .35 mile of Dry Fork Road No. 487 located on the London Ranger District in Jackson County, Kentucky on the Daniel Boone National Forest. This work is to improve prism of the existing road with borrow embankment, a 6 inch lift of aggregate base and two lifts of superpave bituminous asphalt. This project shall also include some minor improvements to the existing road drainage including ditch armoring and new culverts. The work consists of construction survey and staking, 1 lump sum; removal of 18 inch corrugated metal pipe, 2 each; 460 cubic yards of unclassified borrow; 150 tons of placed riprap, KY Class II; 965 tons of aggregate base, Grading KY DGA; 135 tons of superpave asphalt concrete pavement, 3/8 inch; 340 tons of superpave asphalt concrete pavement, 3/4 inch; 50 gallons of tack coat grade, SS-lh; 180 linear feet of 18 inch culvert pipe and l lump sum of temporary traffic control. This project will be solicited using the Request for Quotation format and is set-aside for small business concerns.
