- The Government?s intent is to have 2 helicopters available (if requested) on any given day during the Mandatory Availability Period (MAP), and to have the flexibility to order aircraft with a variety of performance capabilities. This solicitation and any resultant contract is to obtain services of 2 Type lll Helicopters fully operated by qualified personnel and equipped to meet specifications for use in administration of Public Lands.
