- NAICS Code: 4211 US EPA's Assessment and Standards Division (ASD) has a requirement involving emission testing for up to nine lawnmower engines in three different time spans (Phase I, II and III) as part of a lawnmower field aging program. A garden tractor engine (~25hp) is to be added in Phase III. It is expected that the period of performance will encompass three months from start to finish with three to four weeks of emission testing for each phase. EPA will deliver the engines to and from the contractor's facility provided they are within two hours of EPA's National Vehicle Fuel and Emissions Lab (NVFEL) in Ann Arbor, MI. Arrangements for delivery will be made if the contractor is outside of this area. This is being done under FAR Part 12. This acquisition is a full and open competition. Small businesses are strongly encourage to participate. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on 07-29-04.
