- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 22. This Procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside under SIC Code 7218/NAICS 812332 (Industrial Launderers) with a size standard of $12.0 Million. The agency need is to provide uniforms and laundry services for shirts, pants and coveralls on a rental basis for the Navy Public Works Center San Diego in accordance with the attached specifications. Payment will be made via Government-Wide Commercial Purchase Card. Contractor to provide uniforms and laundry services for shirts, pants and cover! alls in the quantities indicated on a rental basis. Pick up and delivery on a weekly basis as indicated. Sizing of individuals will be done at the beginning of the contract. All articles will be new. Employees will be added/deleted by contract modification. Uniforms that are worn, faded, stained will be replaced with new or slightly used uniforms. For missing or lost uniforms, the contractor will notify the POC immediately and have receipt signed for validity of the missing item. Request for uniform for new employee shall be delivered within 2 weeks upon contractor?s receipt of request. Contractor is to price out the following 4 CLINs and 4 successive one-year option periods. Contractor is required to provide a technical plan explaining how they will meet the technical specifications and also a statement on its delivery schedule. In accordance with 52.211-8 Time of Delivery, all services must be performed in accordance with the schedule?no deviations are allowed. All prospective offerors are cautioned that in the event the Government is unable to determine price reasonableness based on the offers received and market analysis, the Government will not issue a contract. This decision is solely the decision and right of the Government. All efforts performed and all cost expended by prospective offerors in providing information requested by the solicitation (including potential site visits, if requested) are not subject to reimbursement by the Government.
