- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for one multilateration system (MS) with an option to buy additional equipment. The initial purchase will include four remote sensors and a central processing unit. The equipment that may be purchased at a later date includes two remote sensors, a beacon interrogator, and three radio link systems. The MS will be installed at the Nanoose Underwater Test Range located near Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. The purpose of the MS is to track aircraft operating at or near the test range and provide that tracking information to the government?s range tracking computer. The track data required shall include latitude and longitude, altitude, beacon code, and time of the track position. The vendor shall provide Radio Frequency (RF) links for data transmission between the remote sensor sites and the central processing unit. The combined power requirements of a remote sensor system and its RF equipment shall not ex! ceed 50 watts. Exact specifications of the range area, locations of remote sensors and accuracy requirements can be obtained via email request to LeiteG@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. The required delivery date is 90 days after date of award. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection and Acceptance will take place at Destination. This procurement is 100% small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 334511 and a size standard of 750 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 8/11/04. The closing date of the solicitation will be 8/25/04, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12 commercial acquisition procedures. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil and on the Keyport Acquisition homepage. Offerors wishing to submit a quote are responsible for downloading their own co! py of the RFQ and monitoring the sites for amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to LeiteG@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO or Keyport websites. The offeror must have a current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov). Questions should be submitted in writing via the fax number provided above or e-mailed to LeiteG@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Note 1 applies.
