- Description
- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division has the following requirement for specific models from Hewlett Packard: six (6) 4GB Memory Option ES40 Part No. MS610-FA; four (4) AS4100 2GB Memory Option 50NS Part No. MS332-GA; one (1) PCI to CI Adaptor Part No. CIPCA-BA; and twenty (20) 18.2 GB 10K RPM UltraSCSI Disk Part No. DS-RZ1ED-VW. A minimum warranty of 90 days is required. Submit length of warranty and terms. Identify each item as being new or refurbished/warranted as new. Items must! qualify for OEM maintenance without OEM inspection. Only the specific make and model equipment will satisfy the Government's minimum requirements. The sole source nature of the procurement is to enhance the capability of existing Alpha Systems in order to support the Aegis Baseline 7 Program Generation, Program Test and Program Production suites at the Aegis land based facilities. These items will be acquired using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 2:00PM EST, 10 August 2004. Anticipated award date is 17 August 2004. All items are to be provided FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA. Delivery shall be 30 days. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTE AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE.
