Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER. This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional info rmation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation--a written solicitation will not be issued. There is no solicitation number, for reference use PR Number W26MT9-4189-3009. The National Ground Intelligence Center, Char lottesville, VA. is soliciting a sole source commercial-item purchase order (under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5) with Surface Optics Corporation, San Diego, CA. The proposed acquisition is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate w ith only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. This action is for the purchase of SOC 400T, hand-held reflectometer, and associated software, training and installation. Item 0001: SOC-400T, hand-held r eflectometer Quantity: 1 Each; Item 0002: GRAMS-32 (V7) , Quantity: 1 each; Item 0003: Installation & Training, Quantity: 1 lot; Delivery to National Ground Intelligence Center, 4353 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville VA 22911 .
