Description

The Government proposes to procure two (2) Solid State Mission Data Recorders, Part Number MDR80-x, to include the following options: (1) Quantity 4 - Removable Memory Module 8GB - Flash Drive, Solid State, Part Number 80RMM-FD8, (2) Quantity 2 - Fir ewire Interface Adapter for Customer Owned Desktop or Laptop Computer, Part Number RMM-IU80, (3) Quantity 1 - MDD Software License - 1 License (1 Channel), Part Number MDDS-1, and (4) Quantity 2 - Replacement Top Plate for VSC Pallet - Right Hand Mount, to support M-TADS Lot 1 testing. The Government intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to TEAC Aerospace Technologies, 1724 Gage Road, Montebello, CA 90640-6504, under the authority and Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competiti on of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. There is no technical data package. Interested sources are encouraged to identify themselves in writing to the Contracting Of ficer, Rodger Pearson, AMSAM-AC-AP-B. All responsible sources my submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. This is a commercial buy. Synopsis period has been modified to 10 days under FAR 5.203 (a). A solicitation will be issued on day 11 approximately, and a proposal is to be received by day 20. Time period begins on the date that this synopsis is published.
